1. Overview
Darkspring Labs provides Sentry, a missed-call and SMS lead qualification system for local service businesses.
These Terms explain the basic rules for using Sentry.
2. Who These Terms Apply To
These Terms apply to businesses, owners, employees, contractors, or other authorized users who access or use Sentry.
If you use Sentry on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have permission to accept these Terms for that business.
3. Beta and Pilot Use
Sentry may be provided as a beta or pilot product.
During a beta or pilot, some features may change, break, be removed, or work differently than expected.
Darkspring Labs may request reasonable feedback during the beta or pilot period to improve Sentry.
4. The Service
Sentry may include:
- Missed-call SMS response
- SMS-based lead qualification
- Lead and conversation tracking
- Owner notification messages
- Internal monitoring and workflow logging
- Basic support
Darkspring Labs may update, improve, or modify Sentry over time.
5. Use of Sentry
Darkspring Labs grants customers a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to use Sentry during the applicable pilot, subscription, or service period.
Sentry, including its software, workflows, dashboards, documentation, and related materials, remains the property of Darkspring Labs.
Customers own their customer data, lead data, communication data, and business data. Darkspring Labs owns the software.
6. Customer Responsibilities
Businesses using Sentry are responsible for:
- Providing accurate setup and contact information
- Reviewing and approving SMS copy used for their business
- Responding to leads after Sentry captures them
- Confirming owner notification phone numbers
- Keeping their own business, customer, and service information accurate
- Telling Darkspring Labs about problems, incorrect messages, or missed leads
- Using Sentry in a lawful and appropriate way
7. SMS Consent and Compliance
Businesses are responsible for making sure they have appropriate permission to communicate with their customers by SMS.
Businesses should use clear language anywhere customers submit contact information, such as:
By calling or texting us, you agree to receive text messages related to your service request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.
Darkspring Labs supports STOP and START handling, but each business remains responsible for its own customer relationships, marketing practices, and legal compliance.
8. Acceptable Use
You may not use Sentry to:
- Send spam or unwanted messages
- Harass, deceive, or mislead people
- Collect unnecessary sensitive personal information
- Violate laws, carrier rules, or messaging policies
- Interfere with Sentry, Darkspring Labs, or third-party services
- Use Sentry for illegal, abusive, or high-risk purposes
9. Fees and Payment
Fees, billing terms, setup fees, pilot pricing, or subscription pricing will be agreed separately in writing.
If Sentry is provided as a free or discounted beta pilot, future production pricing may be different.
10. Customer Data
Businesses retain ownership of their customer data, lead data, communication data, and business data.
Darkspring Labs may access and process that data to operate, support, debug, monitor, and improve Sentry.
Businesses may request a reasonable export of lead data, customer data, communication data, or business data where operationally feasible. More details are provided in the Sentry Privacy Policy.
11. Phone Numbers
Under the current Sentry pilot model, Twilio phone numbers are controlled and managed by Darkspring Labs unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Future phone number transfer, porting, ownership, or long-term number management arrangements may be discussed separately if a business enters a production agreement with Darkspring Labs.
12. Third-Party Services
Sentry may rely on third-party services, including Twilio, Supabase, n8n, Cloudflare Tunnel, and similar providers.
Darkspring Labs is not responsible for outages, delivery failures, delays, policy changes, or other issues caused by third-party services.
13. Availability and Limitations
Darkspring Labs will make reasonable efforts to keep Sentry working, but Sentry is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
Darkspring Labs does not guarantee that:
- Every call or message will be captured
- Every SMS will be delivered
- Every lead will be qualified correctly
- Every owner notification will be received
- Sentry will meet every business need
14. Support
Support terms may depend on the pilot, subscription, or written agreement between the parties.
Unless otherwise agreed, Darkspring Labs will provide reasonable support during normal business hours.
Emergency support, guaranteed response times, or custom service-level commitments are not included unless agreed separately in writing.
15. Confidentiality
Both parties may learn non-public information about the other party while using or providing Sentry.
Each party agrees to use reasonable care to protect confidential business, customer, lead, communication, technical, and operational information.
16. Feedback
You may provide feedback, ideas, suggestions, or requests about Sentry.
Darkspring Labs may use that feedback to improve Sentry without owing additional compensation, ownership, or royalties.
17. No Professional Advice
Sentry is a software tool. It does not provide legal, financial, operational, or professional advice.
Businesses are responsible for decisions made using Sentry data.
18. Suspension
Darkspring Labs may suspend or restrict access to Sentry when reasonably necessary to protect the service, address abuse or misuse, respond to legal requirements, investigate security or operational issues, or protect customers or third-party providers.
Darkspring Labs will try to keep any suspension limited to what is reasonably needed for the situation.
19. Termination
Either party may stop using or providing Sentry according to the pilot, subscription, or written agreement between the parties.
After termination, Darkspring Labs may disable workflows, stop sending SMS messages, and archive or delete data according to its operational process, the Privacy Policy, and any legal obligations.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Darkspring Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages related to Sentry.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, any liability will be limited to the fees paid for Sentry during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or $100 if Sentry was provided for free.
21. Changes to These Terms
Darkspring Labs may update these Terms from time to time.
The updated Terms will be effective when posted or provided, unless a different effective date is stated.
